Sense or Sensibility
Lilic said on graduation day that “be grateful that we are living in a society that respects science.”
At that time there was a bit heated quarrel on the topic of visiting a daoist mountain on a foggy day. I guess that was a taste on the adult real world.
Growing up we value logic, reason, and science. Yet these years I witnessed many methodologies that were quite different. They are not the complete opposite, such as feverous superstition or zealous religion. Usually, elements of myth, sentiment, emotion, perception, conscience, and something close to superstition (believing in something not by some logical reasons) consist most of them.
And I do that too from time to time.
And it’s hard to draw the line between something awfully wrong and those sound humane.
Sometimes it’s a runaway from the correct and difficult road and way of thinking, sometimes you may feel that’s actually a valid path that just you were told to despise before.
A balance is probably the better option, and lots of suppression and confusion are required.
Ok just some inspiration. There’s lot’s of terms I don’t know how to express in English, so let’s finish it later.
