Corso d'italiano

Oggi ho frequentato il mio primo corso di italiano dopo quattro anni. È un corso dedicato agli studenti che hanno studiato italiano per almeno due anni. In generale, il professore, Leonardo, vuole che pratichiamo l’ascolto e la conversazione in italiano attraverso lo studio del teatro. Mi interessa molto, ma è un po’ difficile per me capire al cento per cento. Comunque, nella prima lezione, ci sono stati presentati i tipi di lettura (lettura tipo) e abbiamo dovuto presentare il teso con emozioni diverse. Ho provato il tipo arrabbiato. Ero un po’ nervoso, e la mia presentazione non è andata bene.

La classe è piacevole, ci sono studenti internazionali e un professore anziano che insegna medicina. C’è anche qualcuno che utilizza un pronome non binario. Dopo la lezione, ho parlato di Pirandello, Calvino e di Morte Accidentale di un Anarchico. La conversazione è in inglese, sfortunatamente, perché non sono sicuro di parlare bene Italiano.

Anyway, I chose an Italiano course, just for fun not for credit. Hopefully I can meet new people, make friends, and ensure that I can speak a fair amount of Italian in the future opportunities.

The element of theatre is a plus. There were certainly flashbacks of us playing the Tea House. If I’m truly prone to hide my emotions, perhaps playing a role is a perfect way to both express and provide a façade.

Surprisingly there was a debate on my choice. It’s already a stage that I developed a quite unique view on my major, my future plans, and things I like. Yet those can not be fully expressed and put into serious actions, as I am not independent.

This brings to the fact that I went to my first counseling session since everything suddenly ended last year. Wow I guess I spoke my most fluent English when I was talking about myself with the assurance of confidentiality and no burden. Hopefully two aims would be achieved: say things I want to say, things that I may even not want to write down; and get help to go through this restarted journey.
