Next Stop Heavenly Kingdom

The title is misleading I guess. It’s Valentine’s day, please wave your hands to prove that you are happy.

Similar sentence may express some completely different emotions. From naively glad “if you’re happy and you know it, clap you hands!” to that lyrics resonating in my head.

A time series data could be constructed to reflect the number of celebrating holidays related to romantic relationship on one’s social media network. I had the feeling that somehow it’s increasing as people grow mature, while the very maturity discourages some ones to be more expressive.

We talked about how younger generations are celebrating the day for their loving parents, when I realized how unstable the date of Valentine might be for certain groups, as the Spring Festival is always somewhere close, plans had to be made to adjust the schedule. Well, lucky to some, no family business attached, free to explore the precious opportunity.

I am glad to say that some good memories of the day are carefully stored, and they endowed more emotional palpitation to those songs planted in our brains.
